Donor-Seating Plan on Hold (5/30/01)- Chancellor Robert Hemenway released a statement Tuesday concerning the proposed Donor-Seating plan that was under consideration by former AD Bob Frederick. "We are not putting any plan into place this season, and I want to make sure everyone understands that's not the case," Hemenway said. "First of all, this is just a proposed concept and no plan has been adopted." The chancellor went on to say that the decision on donor-seating and increased ticket prices will be put in the hands of the new AD who he hopes to hire by July 1st.

Collison to Join USA Squad (5/24/01)- KU confirmed today that Nick Collison will be playing for the USA World Championship for Young Men Team. The team will compete August 3-12 in the 2001 FIBA World Championship in Japan. "I'm excited about the opportunity to play for another USA team," Collison said. "I get to travel to Tokyo, plus I'll have the chance to play with and against some of the best competition in the world."
