#13 Jeff Boschee
Senior Guard
6-1 185
Valley City, N.D.
Valley City HS

Scouting Report- Jeff Boschee came to Kansas as a highly recruited point guard.  Midway through his sophomore year, he was moved to shooting guard.  Boschee is generally a very reliable shooter when screens are set for him or if he has an open look.  Has a difficult time creating his own shot.  Has improved his game inside the arc during his three seasons at Kansas.  Will be asked to provide leadership and consistency this season as KU brings in a new crop of guards. Boschee moves fairly well on defense and was KU's best perimeter defender last season.

Has made at least one three-pointer in 89 of 100 career games

Gets his shot off very quickly, and has shown the ability to knock down the NBA three

Is very effective when KU goes "small," allowing the Jayhawks to implement a more up-tempo offense and a trapping, full-court defense

Better than 2-1 assist to turnover ratio

An excellent free throw shooter

Named KU Defensive Player of the Year in 2000-01

Came to Kansas after a record-breaking prep career at Valley City (N.D.) High School, where he earned McDonald's, Parade and USA Today All-America honors

On pace to break Billy Thomas' career mark of 269 made three-pointers, as he enters his senior year with 228 career treys

Eclipsed the 1,000 point barrier his junior year

Averaged double-figure scoring and dished out at least 100 assists in each of his first three seasons at Kansas
